
During a launch ceremony of the National Policy for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), Prime Minister Imran Khan confessed that inflation is a temporary phenomenon that is likely to decline in a few days. The premier added that the ruling government of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), is taking necessary measures to mitigate the effects of inflation and he was hopeful for the results to show in the coming days.
Moreover, Khan addressed the SME sector and lauded Khusro Bakhtiar, the Minister for Industries and Production, and his ministry for SME. Khan added that the government would take action against people who create hurdles for any industry such as export, agriculture, or others. He also took a dig at the past governments and mentioned that the past governments did not care about the facilities and incentives for the SME sector. Khan also underlined the importance of accelerating SME development in Pakistan to increase the GDP growth
