Islamabad hospitals in need of more capacity for COVID-19 patients

Ever since the outbreak, COVID-19 has refused to back down. The highest number of cases have been reported in Punjab and the positivity rate of Islamabad has scaled to 15.9pc.

The advisory allotted by District Health Officer Dr. Zaeem Zia to all hospitals that with the rise in the cases, it is expected that hospitals will demand more space. The heavy surge of cases will be very problematic for hospital administrations.

Zia urges to control the spread of the disease. The capacity must be upgraded in public and private hospitals to be able to manage the incoming burden of positive cases.
