Lockdown likely to be imposed in highest coronavirus cases’ cities of Pakistan

PM Imran Khan is expected to conduct a formal meeting with National Coordination Committee (NCC) to decide on the imposition of lockdown in cities with the highest coronavirus cases. For the cities having a positivity ratio over 10%, lockdown is likely to be imposed. In the meeting, there will also be a discussion of the current progress of the pandemic in the country and what should be done to control the third wave.

The meeting is scheduled for 12 pm and will be requiring the presence of the chief minister, chief secretaries, and ministers as they are the official key members of the NCC supervised by PM Imran Khan.
