The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has now allowed people aged 30 and above to receive booster shots as the protection for COVID-19’s new variant, Omicron. A big number of people have been affected by the variant so far. According to the data, Omicron has affected 58,000 people in 95 countries.
Initially, the booster was only applicable for travelers and a large number of people have been rejected by other countries for travel due to vaccine ‘discrimination’. Immunocompromised people or citizens aged 50 and above were earlier allowed for the booster jabs. However, with the growing variant, NCOC has expanded the age limit.
