NCOC steps up for vaccination in schools

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) emphasized the expedition of the vaccination process in schools for the students of 12 to 18 years of age. As the COVID-19 is likely to hike up during winter, the administrative units have been urged to contact school management and parents for the vaccination of students.

According to the data by NCOC, the number of active cases has reached 22,733 and 1,278 patients have been hospitalized. Additionally, nine people have lost their lives due to the pandemic and 449 people are reported to be infected in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate has now reached 1.07%.
