NCOC warns to tighten COVID-19 restrictions

The National Command Operation Centre (NCOC) has observed that the COVID-19 SOPs have been violated. Therefore, NCOC has warned the citizens to tighten the safety protocols and reimpose the restrictions that were eased when the active cases had reduced. Asad Umar, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms, and Special Initiatives held a meeting to analyze the situation of growing cases of COVID-19.

The NCOC has expressed concerns over the violation of SOPs. Restaurants, transport systems, and wedding venues re-opened when the situation got better. However, the positivity rate has reached 2.97% with the death tally standing at 1,347 cases.
