National Security Adviser (NSA) has left for the official visit with the American counterpart, Jack Sullivan. The visit is part of severely bilateral engagements the two had agreed upon during their last meeting in May at Geneva. Pak NSA will also be meeting US legislators and other senior officials.
After the first meeting at Geneva which served its purpose as the ice breaker between the two countries, the National Security Advisers of Pakistan and the USA will be meeting again for which the Pak NSA, Moeed Yusuf has flown to the USA.
Yusuf will also be holding talks with other senior officials and US legislators of the Biden administration. Earlier, Yusuf had mentioned the lack of engagement between the presidents of the two countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
