Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar stated that more than 20 million Pakistanis have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Umar who is also of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) is confident that Pakistan will not surpass the vaccination target set by the government. He added that the country is set to complete the vaccination target of 70 million by the end of this year.
Moreover, he wrote that during the early days of the vaccination campaign, the target was to vaccinated 7 crore people and fortunately, the government has vaccinated 5 crores for now. He expressed his confidence in vaccinating the maximum number of people.
