Pak, China to Sign Deal for Establishment of Sister-Province Relationship

To develop cooperation in diverse fields and develop technical and vocational training, Pakistan and China have signed an agreement in Wuhan to establish a sister-province relationship between Sindh and Hubei. The aim of the agreement is to strengthen the fields of education, science, and technology when Pakistan’s loan portfolio is 95% of its GDP. Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Moin-ul-Haque and Governor of Hubei Provincial People’s Government Wang Zhongli signed the agreement.

The envoy appreciated the support of the Hubei government and expressed gratitude for the strengthening of the Pak-China relationship. Speaking on the occasion, Governor Wang said that Pakistan and China are “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative” partners and their strong friendship is the representation of the strength of both leaders and countries.

Referring to the robust ties between the countries for the past 70 years, Governor Wang stated that he hoped that this collaboration will turn out to be beneficial for all fields of science, education, technology, and more.
