Pak Navy Says It Blocked and Deleted Indian Submarine Invasion

In an unprecedented development, Pakistan Navy has detected and blocked an Indian military submarine from entering Pakistani waters. In an official statement, the Pakistani military confirmed that the incident took place when the submarine was detected by Pak Navy patrol aircraft. Following the event, a strict surveillance mechanism has been put in place to safeguard maritime frontiers of the country. Since 2016, this is the third invasion carried out by an Indian submersible vessel on the Pakistani territory.

The army shared infrared footage of the incident that was taken on October 16, 2021, between 11:18 pm and 11:36 pm, which was prematurely tracked by the Pakistan Navy’s Long Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft.

On the other hand, the Indian Navy rejected these claims by Pakistan’s military claiming that the GPS coordinates in the video show the submarine’s location around 140-150 nautical miles from Karachi which are international waters so it could be any country’s submarine.

What’s your take on this development?
