Pakistan, Iran resolve to limit spread of virus together

Pakistan and Iran have agreed to work jointly to restrict the coronavirus epidemic after almost 3,000 people were confirmed to have caught the virus in Iran.

The contract over a combined response was reached during a telephonic conversation between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and his Iranian counterpart, Jawad Zarif, today.

The foreign minister told Zarif that Pakistan offers its full support to Iran in tackling the virus, adding that Pakistan regrets the loss of valuable lives in Iran owing to the epidemic that has killed more than 90 people.
