17 loaded trucks of 278 tonnes of edibles were dispatched by the Pak-Afghan Cooperation Forum (PACF) to Afghanistan via the Torkhum border. The shipment was sent as humanitarian aid to the neighboring country during this time of crisis.
The Chairman PACF, Habibullah Khan Khattak stated that the Afghans are our neighbors and Muslim brothers; the 40 year-long war in Afghanistan has caused unimaginable damages to the economy, agriculture, and administrative infrastructure of the war-torn country. He added that humanitarian aid in the form of food, non-food, and medicines are provided to Afghans with the aim to help them stand on their own feet and make their land peaceful.
