Pakistan starts COVID-19 vaccination for aged 17 and above

National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has started the vaccination drive for people aged 17 years and above which starts September 1 as an initiative to control coronavirus spread. Earlier, the government had allowed the vaccination of 18 or above against COVID-19.

The news has been confirmed by the head of the NCOC, Asad Umar, and the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, Dr. Faisal Sultan. The duo also said that Pakistan is soon to start the inoculation of 15-year-olds and has made it mandatory for everyone to get jabbed.
