Pakistan urges sparring Afghan sides to cut down violence

On Tuesday, Pakistan again advised Afghan warring sides to decrease violence so that the peace process could move ahead.

While talking to the visiting leader of Hezb-i-Wahdat-i-Islami, Afghanistan, Ustad Karim Khalili, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi urged “all sides” for drop in violence leading to ceasefire.

“The Afghan leadership should seize this historic opportunity to establish lasting peace in Afghanistan through intra-Afghan negotiations,” the foreign minister emphasized.
