Pakistan’s COVID-19 positivity rate to rise to 2.3%

Pakistan has reported 27 deaths due to coronavirus in 24 hours. This has pushed the death tally to 22,281. According to the data by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 42,062 PCR tests were conducted yesterday, out of this 29,979 people were detected positive. The positivity ratio has now increased to 2.3%.

The maximum number of deaths in the last 24 hours have been recorded in Sindh followed by Punjab. Currently, Sindh has 11,852 active cases, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 9,525, Balochistan has 746, Punjab has 17,218, and Gilgit Baltistan has 360. The total number of active cases in Pakistan is 31,606.
