After travel relaxation for Pakistani passengers, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has expanded its flight operations to the United Kingdom. PIA has sorted out the matters with aircraft companies and has requested quotations to extend flight operation to European Union countries for the next six months starting from November 2021 to April 2022. The charter flights having 250 seats will be operated from Islamabad and Lahore to Manchester, London, Milan, Birmingham, and Milan.
The UK has recently removed Pakistan from its red list. Adding to that, eight other countries have also come off the list such as Oman, Maldives, Turley, Bangladesh, and more. Lately, UK has eased the quarantine restrictions for passengers arriving from Pakistan.
However, the passengers arriving in the UK who have received vaccines such as Pfizer, Moderna, and Astra Zeneca COVID-19 vaccines have been removed from the self-isolation list. Moreover, Chinese vaccines are still not acceptable for passengers. The new guidelines are to be enforced from October 11.
