Prime Minister Imran Khan, along with his high-level delegation, reached Islamabad today after concluding his four-day visit to China. The visit has been labeled ‘successful’ by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry. During his visit, PM Khan attended some important meetings with the top Chinese leadership and the business community. Some important topics were discussed and several memoranda of understandings (MoUs) were signed.
Before concluding the visit, PM Khan also met President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of People in Beijing. This was the first meeting the two leaders had since Khan’s visit to China in 2019. The leaders discussed Pak-China bilateral cooperation and also exchanged views on global and regional issues.
Khan also briefed the Chinese president on people-centered geo-economics vision, agriculture modernization concerns, industrial growth, regional connectivity, and more.
