
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned that a strong windstorm is likely to hit the Sindh-Makran coast today (Wednesday), saying that vulnerable structures in the coastal region may also be damaged. The storm, PMD said, might drop the temperature in Sindh and Balochistan up to 03-05 ℃ on Thursday and Friday. According to the Met Office, the coastal areas of Balochistan and Karachi may experience gusty winds with a speed of 25 to 30 nautical miles per hour and advised caution to fishermen for two days.
Moreover, moderate rain and wind and thunderstorm are also expected in Islamabad, Attock, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Chitral, Faisalabad, Mansehra, Peshawar, Sahiwal, Mardan, Kohistan, Swat, Gilgit Baltistan, Mianwali, Waziristan, Shangla, Bajaur, Jhang, Kohat, Okara, and more. Additionally, fog is expected to stay in upper Sindh and plain areas of Punjab.
