Students Of Various Colleges Spent “A Day With Pakistan Navy”

Lahore, 22 Aug 23: Pakistan Navy organized an event “A Day with Pakistan Navy” for the students from various colleges of Lahore to enlighten them on the functioning of the Pakistan Navy, its organization, and defense capabilities. The event was organized by Pakistan Navy War College, Lahore.

A total of 200 x Male and Female students along with faculty members from Government College University, Fazaia Degree College, Garrison College for boys, and Bahria College Lahore along with faculty members attended the event. Commander Central Punjab Rear Admiral Javaid Iqbal addressed the audience. During his interaction with students and faculty, he assured them that Pakistan Navy has all the capabilities and will to protect the maritime frontiers of the country. He also highlighted the importance of the maritime sector for developing countries and how stronger Naval Forces can facilitate the economic development of their nation.

The program was followed by a demonstration of combat readiness of troops, arms and equipment display, and an anti-terrorist demo by Pakistan Marines and Special Service Group of Pakistan Navy. The students displayed keen interest while attending a briefing about PN roles & responsibilities, the latest platforms available in the PN Fleet, and four dimensions of the Pakistan Navy. They also witnessed an exhibition about various arms of PN. The visiting students and faculty members praised the state of morale, commitment, and professional competence of the Maritime Defenders of the country.
