The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has announced some new guidelines for providing COVID-19 vaccines to senior citizens of 80 and above at home. This facility will begin by the government in the next few days.
Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar, said that NCOC has introduced this facility because it is quite difficult for old citizens to go to vaccination centres.
Moreover, NCOC has collected the data of 4323 cases and 43 deaths in a day with 438 ventilators being used all over the country. According to Bloomberg, the American newswire, Pakistan needs at least a decade to vaccinate 75% population. However, around 1 million citizens have been vaccinated already.
