Shah Mahmood Qureshi asks the world to stand against Islamophobia

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, had a telephone call with his Canadian counterpart, Marc Garneau, where Qureshi discussed the unfortunate event of a Muslim family’s murder in London, Ontario. Qureshi urged the seriousness of Islamophobia and how it is a matter of serious concern which has caused distress to Muslims across the globe.

Qureshi presented the ways with which Islamophobia can be controlled in order to maintain peace among different faiths to make it easier to coexist. The foreign office in their statement said that the two foreign ministers have planned to collectively work to stand against Islamophobia and have agreed to guide the representatives in New York to make efforts for this.
