Opposition Leader and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif returned to Pakistan yesterday (Sunday) from London after almost a two month stay in the United Kingdom (UK).
The PML-N leader spent seven weeks in London for medical treatment and was later cleared to travel by his doctors.
He landed in Pakistan by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA)’s flight PK-758 at the Allama Iqbal International Airport where he was welcomed by a huge crowd of party members and workers.
A strong contingent of police personnel and water cannon were called at the airport to tackle any unwanted incident.
Shehbaz Sharif was driven to his Model Town residence in a motorcade.
He had left for London on April 10 after acquiring bail in the Ashiana Housing and Ramazan Sugar Mills cases.
