
The Pakistan Meteorological Department informed about the torrential rains in Sindh and the districts of Balochistan. According to the Met officials, the situation may get ‘dangerous’ as the rains may ignite the cyclone Gulab.
Met department’s tropical cyclone warning centre revealed that a low-pressure area is over central India and has now reached the Indian Gujrat. The advisory also warned that heavy rain and thunderstorm may hit Karachi, Thatta, Larkana, Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Dadu, Tharparkar, Tando Allah Yar, Badin Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, and Jamshoro from September 28th to October 2nd.
Moreover, the districts such as Karachi, Pasni, Oramara, Thatta, Gwadar, Hyderabad, and Badin will more likely face urban flooding.
