The arrest of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s suspected target killer, Yousuf alias Thelaywala, and the events in the wake of his apprehension remain cloaked in mystery.

The investigation committee set up to inquire into the matter still has not submitted a definitive report.

However, it has recorded the statements of 12 officials, including policemen, and is likely to provide its findings today (Monday).

On Sunday, the police officers deputed at Soldier Bazaar Police Station denied their involvement in the arrest.
