The Supreme Court has suspended the Sindh High Court’s decision regarding payment of dues to the victims of Fazaia Housing Scheme
According to details, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah expressed anger and annoyance over the fraud in the Fazaia Housing Scheme, saying that such projects were sullying the image of a key national institution.
He wondered how the Pakistan Air Force could enter into a joint venture with a private company.
Justice Sajjad Ali Shah further said in his remarks that it was not just a matter of allotment but a matter of fraud with the people.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has sought a reply from the NAB and other parties pertaining to the matter.
It should be noted that the decision of the Sindh High Court was challenged by the overseas victims in the Supreme Court. The lawyers of the victims had requested that the money be returned with a profit.
Earlier, the Sindh High Court had ordered the release of the accused on bail . On July 3, the court ordered the Pakistan Air Force and others to return the original amount to the victims within six months.
