Noor Mukadam’s murderer, Zahir Jaffer who belongs to one of the influential families in Pakistan, Jaffer Group has made a confession. Zahir has admitted that he committed the crime and brutally killed Noor. However, he had no definite reason for doing so and kept changing his reasons when he was inquired in court. Islamabad police have also taken the video evidence of Zahir’s torture of women on his mobile device as well as on the CCTV camera.
The sources have claimed that in the footage the girl was seen trying to escape by jumping from the first floor of the house and running to the main gate. She then locked herself in the security guard’s cabin from where Zahir dragged him out and the security guards didn’t stop him, just watched him instead.
The police have recovered a pistol and a dagger from him. Sadly, the physical remand of Zahir has been extended for the next two days. His lawyer had argued that there is no need for physical remand as the police got what they wanted to.
