In a tragic incident, an old woman lost her life during a stampede at a local office of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) at Punjab’s Gujranwala city.
An elderly lady, Rasool Bibi, was standing in a long queue for last few hours when the stampede suddenly occurred at the jam-packed Nadra office.
A large number of people were waiting there to get national identity cards (NICs) updated or renewed.
