The concerned authorities of Karachi has began crackdown against illegal billboards in metropolis.
The step was taken after Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) termed billboards erected on footpaths as a violation of citizens rights and ordered their removal.
It is pertinent to mention that SCP has also sought a report from the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Sindh Police on the illegal billboards on the 26th of August.
