The drama is a typical love story of two intense lovers. Hammad’s love at first glance with Imaan ultimately leads him to abandon his family and his profligate lifestyle as he tries to be accepted by Imaan’s family.
Right from the release of its trailer, Season 3 of Khuda Aur Mohabbat airing on Geo Entertainment started drawing viewers’’ attention. The chemistry between the central pair, the mellifluous OST by the musical genius Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and the captivating story about love and piety, has kept audiences glued to the screens ever since the first episode aired. This week the 5th episode of KAM 3 aired in which, Farhad (Feroze Khan) decides to brave it all in pursuit of his love. Here’s the review.
In episode 5, Mahi’s father calls her back to Bahawalpur urgently, leaving behind the wedding festivity and certainly Farhad.
This is the moment of truth for Farhad. In his home city, he has a reliable group of friends, a loving family, a girl who is evidently in love with him, and an employment opportunity.
In contrast, in Bahawalpur, there is Mahi and a flicker of hope. Farhad, of course, opts for the latter. Immediately, he decides that the chance of getting Mahi’s affections means more to him than anything he presently has. Luckily for him, Mr Nasir gets him a job in Bahawalpur at a place where Farhad can be near Mahi, which is all he always wanted.
While leaving town, he says a key dialogue that summarizes his attitude. “Jheet Kar Aonga Ya Pher Maar Kar”.
Call it prophesy or an impromptu remark (I think it’s the former), this dialogue by Farhad presents a dramatic shift in his journey. Farhad has been gradually building towards this moment and in his head and heart, he has arrived at a point of no return. His love for Mahi reaches dizzying heights and he is ready to put his entire life in jeopardy just to win her affection.
On the other hand, the Saeen at the Mazar foresees both joy and grief for Taimoor and his family. Taimoor’s mother queries further but doesn’t get a clear enough response. One wonders if the carefree way in which Taimoor discusses hallowed things return to haunt him. This thought is gradually overwhelming his mother. Yet, to try and recompense and avoid future mishaps, she is quite generous with her offerings.
If you haven’t already seen this episode, go watch it now! We look forward to a more exciting next episode.
