Arshad Nadeem becomes the last hope of Pakistan to win a gold medal. He went into the finals of the men javelin throw of 85.16 meters. The 24-year-old thrower is from Khanewal and his throw was the third best after India’s Neeraj Chopra (86.65m) and world leader Germany’s Johannes Vetter (85.64m).
In the final, Nadeem will be playing alongside Finland’s Lassi Eteltalo. Nadeem spoke to the media and expressed his gratitude. He said he is happy for the support the country has given and he requests everyone to pray for his success in the final.
