After India’s victory against Afghanistan, men in blue see the chance of qualifying for the semifinals of the T20 World Cup. Many people trolled the Indian team for paying for this victory and more. Amidst such internet trolling, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry couldn’t help poking fun at the team, too. Recalling the time when New Zealand called off the Pakistan tour, Chaudhry shared #T20Memes on his Twitter account and wrote that India could win the semifinals by sending fake emails to New Zealand.
Chaudhry also targeted the ‘security concern’ of the NZ team in his tweet. In a full statement, he wrote, “India can still reach in semifinals if they send fake emails and New Zealand and leaves UAE due to security issues.”
The burning curiosity every cricket enthusiast has is if India can make it to the semi-finals now. The blue shirts have shown poor performance in the T20 after they got defeated from Pakistan first and then New Zealand. Fortunately, the Pakistan team has secured a safe position in the semi-finals after winning three matches. The green shirts will be playing against Scotland now as every cricket lover’s eye is set on the team.
