Mahoor Shahzad, a Pakistani Olympian and top-seed badminton player for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, recently got engaged. The star player announced the news of her engagement to Major Faizan Alam, a Pakistan army officer, on her social media account. Mahoor shared some pictures from the ceremony, and expressed gratitude with the hashtag “soulmate”. The ceremony took place in the presence of the couple’s family and close relatives.
Mahoor donned a beautiful nude colored dress with silver embroidery and stones and her fiancé wore a bespoke grey suit with a tie that coordinated colors with Mahoor’s dress. The couple exchanged rings on February 13 and the date of the wedding hasn’t been finalized.
