PSL is expected to resume from June 9

The tentative date for HBL PSL 6 has been decided to be June 9. The series came to a halt due to the COVID-19 when players were tested positive. Now, the series is expected to resume in Abu Dhabi on June 9 or June 10. The previous date was scheduled to be June 5 but only five cricketers, eight Indian broadcasters, and two coaches have managed to reach the United Arab Emirates on Saturday.

Players have to complete their isolation period when they arrive in the UAE. Coaches and broadcasters were to arrive in South Africa and players and more broadcasters from Pakistan and India, but since both the countries are on the travel’s red list due to COVID-19, the issuance of visas became a problem. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) awaits the visas of players and officials.
