The former cricketer of the Pakistan cricket team, Ramiz Raja is most likely to become the next chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The process has already been initiated as Raja met some noteworthy personnel of the cricket structure. Raja has spent six hours in the National High Performance Center (NHPC).
Raja also met the chief selector Mohammad Wasim and talked about the selection structure. According to the sources, Raja also met Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam as the two discussed the difficulties the national team is facing. Moreover, the future chairman will be meeting the head coach Misbah ul Haq after he completes his quarantine period due to being COVID-19 positive.
Earlier, the former cricketer, Sarfaraz Nawaz opposed Raja’s appointment and called him ‘pro India’.
