After Talha Talib’s elimination from Tokyo Olympics, two more Pakistani athletes are out of the Games. The two athletes failed to acquire the medal and could not qualify to the next stage in their respective games. Mahnoor Shahzad played badminton and represented Pakistan and Haseeb Tariq did in swimming.
Mahnoor is Pakistan’s top player and 133rd best in the world. She faced the world’s number 26, Kristy Gilmour. The match went for 31 minutes where Mahnoor performed very well but went down 21-14, 21-14. This was her second defeat in the Olympics.
Haseeb Tariq is the swimmer for men’s 100m freestyle swimming. He finished the swimming at an individual timing of 53.81.
