YouTube has made a decision to not allow accounts to exist on the platform that is operated by the Taliban. This decision was taken as social media companies came across the concerns to handle the group that has taken over Afghanistan. The return of the Taliban in power has shaken the human rights and freedom of speech concern.

Moreover, WhatsApp had to shut down the helpline for Afghans to contact the Taliban. A Taliban spokesperson has made allegations that Facebook has censored a news conference on Tuesday.
