Red Alert For Mumbai After Heavy Rain Leads To Flooding

In Mumbai, low-lying areas have been flooded after continuous rain overnight. Roads are submerged in many areas including Dadar, Chembur, Santacruz, Andheri, Lower Parel, Hindmata, Kings Circle, Sion. Due to inundation, trains have been halted in a few places and bus service has also come to a standstill. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for August 4 and 5 in Mumbai. Offices have also been closed for two days.
